Happy Day

It's been a weekend of parties! Unfortunately, I have no pics to show for it.
We celebrated my birthday Friday night with church friends. We celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday, of course, and a little family party for me there too. Who doesn't love that!

Monday was my birthday which was also a fun day. I don't know about you all but when it's my birthday I feel so special. There's a little bounce to my step, an extra helping of calm, and smiles galore. Not to mention I got the day off of work, which was a nice surprise.

Tuesday is my Mother-In-Law's birthday, so we celebrated that as well.
As much as I am a party animal, I really am partied out, and don't need to eat for a good week or so.

Evelyn is talking up a storm. I can't even count how many words she can say these days. I feel like she's learning 2 or 3 everyday, which is great, but now she gets frustrated with me when I don't give her what she wants and she knows I can understand her. She definitely likes to test her boundaries and thinks it's pretty funny when Mommy or Daddy say No to her.

Her most favorite thing to do is go outside. It's the first word out of her mouth in the morning and last thing before she goes to bed, "side?", "side?", "side?". It's cute, but oh does all heck break loose when Mommy says that we can't go outside. Here's a little video of her excitement.
