Results From Brazil Butt Lift

Results are in!! I really love that I took before photos, no, I didn't want to, but it helps in so many ways. Let me explain. First, I get to see (literally) where I really am at physically. I know it's hard to actually come "face to face" with the reality of your body and not the ideality, but you have to do it, we all do if we want to change. How can you get better if you don't know where you started?

Secondly, the accountability. When I take these pics, and especially show them to others, it spurs in me the desire to get my tail moving so that I can be proud of my progress and show others that they can do it too. No, I'm not completely comfortable in my skin all the time, but I know in order to help others achieve their goals I have to put myself out there and show them real results. You can't win the game without putting a little skin on the line, right?

Lastly, I can really SEE my results. The programs aren't all 21 days, some are 60, some 90. I know that they work, but I don't always "feel" it. It's good for me to see progress when the scale isn't saying so.

So here they are! I started this program Sept 22 and finished Nov 15. The program is 60 days and I'm not going to lie, I did not follow it to the T. They call for 2 sessions of 30 min workouts a day and I just didn't have it in me to do both. I did one session and then a 10 min ab workout (thru Beachbody on Demand). I'm so spoiled from 30 min or less workouts and by the time I nursed Lenora, attended to the other kids and then got her to sleep my time was really only 30 mins. She would be ready to eat as soon as I finished the workout. I'm sure I could've seen better results if I'd done the full hour, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it.

Typically with this workout you're supposed to take an up close and personal pic of your "boom boom". I'm not really about doing close up's there, so I think these will just have to do. :) I will say that I do feel more "lifted" and am VERY happy with that. ;)

I still have a way to go. I'd like to be back to my prepregnancy weight and I know it's going to take more time. I'm moving on to the CIZE workout with Shaun T, and so far I LOVE IT!!! I'm not sprinting to lose these last 20lbs but I'm determined to wear my clothes again! I hope anyone reading this is inspired to start, or finish their program. I hope you can join me in my next goal! Have a great day!

Cardio Axe

FUN FUN FUN!!! I think this was the original CIZE workout! That was seriously a blast, I love the Brazilian moves and I love the combo's, I could definitely take those to the club! ;)

Honestly I didn't think Leondro broke things down as good as Shaun T does, but then again, he has very broken English. He has good energy and the back up people in the workout are easy to follow. This workout reminded me of back in the day, going to the Brazilian club and learning those amazing hip movements. Good times.

Ok, so I totally cheated because I do feel like my belly is already getting smaller. Down 3 lbs!!! What??? I know, I know, I shouldn't have, I feel guilty. I won't until again until Sunday. EEK, excited!!!

Sculpt!

Wow, really nice to finally lift weights! I definitely didn't go heavy, and we got to use round band and ankle weights. I didn't use or need them because my body weight is heavy enough right now, so I followed the modifier.

I'm still super sore so it was so great to not focus solely on my lower booty, I mean body.

We did however do floor work, I'm still sore.

Stats

Stats:

This pregnancy was my healthiest weight and workout wise, even tho it wasn't much, of all my past pregnancies, and even tho I still managed to gain 45 lbs (eek), I did not get into the 170's which is what I was well into and surpassed with the other kids. So I'm happy about that. However, I have literally done nothing right when it comes to healthy eating habits. Ok that's not true I did drink shakeology, but I also indulged my sweet tooth and every plate of seconds I wanted. She was worth every pound, but I have lots of corrections to make in reestablishing healthy choices and habits.

Starting weight: 155

Measurements

Shoulders:  41

Chest:  39.25

Waist:  38

Hips:  43

Thigh:  23.5

Arm: 12.5

My Post Baby Return!

Before anything else I just wanted to say another quick Thank You to those who helped us raise money last month! You helped in raising $1200 for the Kubitza family and the ministry of translating the written word of God into audio version for the Brazilian people. So Awesome!

Now that our beautiful baby girl is here and I'm now in the clear to workout, now is the time to get my body and my energy back. Being 5 weeks post partum with past pregnancies I was a little bummed out about my weight. I typically have hard recoveries  post partum and feel like a whale, but I know what I need to do since I've done it before, so I have hope. I'm not one of those girls that the weight just falls off due to nursing or just because baby is out. Oh no, not me, I have to work hard or every single pound because I'm really not a naturally thin person. I'm muscular and built wide, and I like to eat!  It's not a bad thing, but not what I'm comfortable in size wise.

So what workout are we starting with you ask? The workout I've always wanted to try but was too embarrassed to do it. Well here goes nothing, 60 days of Brazilian Butt Lift baby! Here is my reasoning. Typically, I have no back side, just, flat, especially when I lose weight. My pants have nothing to hold them up, and it's very sad. So, due to having the extra "size" right now, I figured maybe if I focus on my rear end, it will stick around this time! Here's to trying! :)

Seriously tho it isn't just about looking good, although it is about fitting in my clothes again. As much as this has been the healthiest pregnancy physically for me it was the hardest emotionally for me, and a huge part of the reason why is because I couldn't work out for a large portion of it. When I was finally cleared to workout I didn't have the energy or motivation and drop down to two times a week. Low blood sugar, weekly progesterone shots, and low iron can do a number on a body.

Fast forward to today, I'm so ready for this.  Bum Bum workout for day 1 (35 mins). I was modifying by mid workout, and I quickly realized I willingly signed up for 60 days of straight Legs! What was I thinking! It honestly just felt great to move and sweat a little, my legs and bum bum were shuttering after this workout, I'm excited for more!

Here's a video on this workout, it's going to be fun!
Stats and before pics to come tomorrow!

Giving Month!

When you come off the Beachbody Coach Summit high, it's easy to just bask in how awesome the company is. Almost every detail seems to be thought out, every mistake is immediately mended, every opportunity of self discovery in order to help others is right at your finger tips. It's no joke, the best well run business I've ever seen. The integrity, the passion, the limitless opportunities seems unmatched.

But alas, what do you do when you're overwhelmed with... AwesomeNess around you? You get off of you, and Give. So this August will be our giving month. Last year we were able to help out a deserving family whose child was dealt a rough hand of a cancerous brain tumor found in uetero.

This year we want to focus on a family who we've heard of for year's now. A family who uprooted themselves and the comforts of this country in order to bring the living word to people who have never even heard of God. People who serve in the Great Commision, of giving others the chance to hear the Good News and make their own choice to be a follower of Christ. This story is Amazing and I can't even begin to tell you how Awesome God is who prepares and works thru His people. They translate the written word into an audio version, but the details that go into it will blow your mind. Before we get into all of it tho, I'll just leave you with a few pics and ask for your prayers as we try to do them right thru:
1. Inviting others to take a look at living a little healthier thru a proven workout plan and clinically proven nutrition.
2. Praying for their continued work and blessings upon it and their lives.
We know that they will prosper weather we give to them or not, but we would love to be a tiny slice to help, even if it's in the smallest way.

He Did It!

I'm so proud of my hubby and main squeeze! He accomplished the hardest most intense workout in at-home-fitness! It was insane! Because IT WAS  Insanity Max 30. To some it may seen like just another notch under his belt. Add it to the list of Insanity, T25, P90X3, and Body Beast. It's more then that. It really does take discipline, self control, and just plain ol "GET ER DONE" kinda attitude.
Yes, he has a full time job, 3 kids, and a home renovation he's doing himself. Yes, he's busy, who isn't? We have busy weekends just like anyone else, but when you invest the money, devote your time, and promise to be an positive dedicated example to yourself and family, you just do it. It's never easy, there are always set backs, sick kids, sick self, work meetings, work deadlines, crazy wife with unexpected dr appts, broken down car. We had it all these past couple months, that's why I'm so proud of him!
Maybe also a little jealous. This post is not about me, but for a quick update, when I started my first real day of PiYo, I began bleeding the next day. Since my docs orders were to not workout until I stop bleeding that's where I've been. It's been about a week and not gonna lie, it's killing me. I get so much more out of workouts than just physical fitness. I get mental and emotional fitness as well. I get to feel strong and capable, it helps me face other trials that come throughout the day, if that makes any sense. Besides, what could be as bad as 180 jumps with a burpee in T25 followed by spider pushups??? If you can do THAT you can do ANYTHING! I wish I could say my waiting to get back to it, has been patient and reflective. Nope, it's been emotional, but I know it's just for now, and I will do what I have to do. That's what being a Mom is all about, right?

Mad props to the man who is my rock and is as hard as a rock. ;) Hehe.
