It's a BOY!

Wow! It was a very stressful week for us, well mainly me. I had my first appointment with specialist Dr. Moodly. I was very anxious because 1) I knew we might find out the sex and 2) I was nervous about what else he would find. Dr. Moodly was great. We were checking to see if there was maybe a cause as to why Evelyn was a preemie. Well, as of now, there are only suspicions. He is going to check me again in a month and see if the suspicions are real. The baby seems to only be on one side, and this could be due to a malformation (split) in my uterus, which makes it a little tight in there for baby to grow. Thus, causing premature birth.

The good news is that I am going to start taking progesterone shots starting this next week, every week, until I am 36 weeks. The shots are supposed to help reduce the chance of premature labor. He also said to drink lots of water and don't lift heavy things. So I'm going to be careful, and my poor clients are going to have to get their own weights! jk!

We had at least 20 mins of ultrasounds, which was so cool! And we got some great pics. I of course cried when the tech announced that it was a boy. We were both stunned! So she got a great shot of his "boy part" and a cute one of his foot. We have 3D ones too, but they are kinda spooky and I don't want to give anyone nightmares. ;)
