Evelyn is 3!

I can't begin to explain how incredibly blessed I feel that I am. Not only because I am a child of the King, and have a healthy and lovely family, but because we have such indescribable love from our family and friends.

Well, Evie is now 3. Yes, she had her Michael Jackson birthday party and yes, we all dressed up. Our loved ones were enthusiastic and totally willing to make this a special day for Evelyn. It was so sweet and endearing to see how much she is loved. It is sometimes a struggle, I must admit, that my daughter is overly fond of Michael, but seeing her so into it and excited about this day/theme made my heart overflow with joy.

She was very blessed with gifts also, something that is another struggle for me since I get so nervous about "spoiling" her. At the end of the day though, she was not spoiled, she was blessed. Sometimes we can bless her big, and sometimes we bless her small. Sometimes blessings are parked in friends tool shed and need a new home. God has a way with His blessings!

I don't know if I've have ever felt so honestly, completely and fully happy for someone else like I was for her that day. I wanted to give her the world, we both did. Happy Birthday Evelyn, we love you!
