Happy 1st Birthday Grady

i think the slideshow is viewing backwards... sorry.

Our little man is now 1. It was a little bit of an emotional day, and not just because we were working on the house, working on the party, and I was getting 12 months worth of scrap-booking done in 9 days. No, it was just reality of another small step taken.

It was a great day. Evelyn was very sweet to her brother and let him have his way all day, as much as she could, anyway.

Grady helped Daddy on the house in the morning, and the rest of the day was just getting ready for the party. It was much smaller than Evie's 1st birthday, which I did feel a little guilty for, but the slower paced allowed me, at least, to take it in better.

We skyped Ta-Ta during the Happy Birthday Song and it got me a little choked up. Not exactly sure why, just all of it I guess. My heart was overflowing is the best way I can describe it. Happy Birthday Grady, you are a true blessing.
