I'm so proud of my hubby and main squeeze! He accomplished the hardest most intense workout in at-home-fitness! It was insane! Because IT WAS Insanity Max 30. To some it may seen like just another notch under his belt. Add it to the list of Insanity, T25, P90X3, and Body Beast. It's more then that. It really does take discipline, self control, and just plain ol "GET ER DONE" kinda attitude.
Yes, he has a full time job, 3 kids, and a home renovation he's doing himself. Yes, he's busy, who isn't? We have busy weekends just like anyone else, but when you invest the money, devote your time, and promise to be an positive dedicated example to yourself and family, you just do it. It's never easy, there are always set backs, sick kids, sick self, work meetings, work deadlines, crazy wife with unexpected dr appts, broken down car. We had it all these past couple months, that's why I'm so proud of him!
Maybe also a little jealous. This post is not about me, but for a quick update, when I started my first real day of PiYo, I began bleeding the next day. Since my docs orders were to not workout until I stop bleeding that's where I've been. It's been about a week and not gonna lie, it's killing me. I get so much more out of workouts than just physical fitness. I get mental and emotional fitness as well. I get to feel strong and capable, it helps me face other trials that come throughout the day, if that makes any sense. Besides, what could be as bad as 180 jumps with a burpee in T25 followed by spider pushups??? If you can do THAT you can do ANYTHING! I wish I could say my waiting to get back to it, has been patient and reflective. Nope, it's been emotional, but I know it's just for now, and I will do what I have to do. That's what being a Mom is all about, right?
Mad props to the man who is my rock and is as hard as a rock. ;) Hehe.
