Melissa A. Flores

I love this one, it's my favorite. I don't even remember how old we are, I think maybe in Highschool or at least she was. We were taking the picture and put our faces together and I said, "Hey don't mess up my makeup (like it was amamzing or something)." And she was like, "what!"So we put our hands up to protect our faces. We were laughing so hard. You had to be there.

We had a makeup and hair spot in our room. I spent more time there than she did. She was a natural beauty. She loved Taz and I'm wearing her shirt.

This is after my first year of college. I'm so glad we did this.

My sister's Baby Shower. I swear I felt like we had all the time in the world.

My wedding rehersal.

I love this one too, that's us having fun!

Love this one too, with some of the girl cousins.
It's a year today that Melissa has been with our Lord. I don't know really what to say to make this not about my sadness in missing her. Although I do miss her, everyday.
What I can say is what a fighter she was, and not just with breast cancer, with everything. She had a huge heart, a walk and voice of confidence. She played hard and battled harder, she didn't just like things, she LOVED things, there's a difference. She made you feel cooler just by being around her, her smile and laugh were truly infectious. She was loud and spunky, and when she was pissed, you knew to step out of the way. lol. She was tough enough to play softball, but girly enough to be a cheerleader. She loved her family and wasn't afraid to tell it like it was. She welcomed all warmly with a huge hug, and had nicknames for everyone. She was true to herself. She worked hard at school and wanted to make a difference. She was genuine, and she had faith.
I wish so much that she was still here. That I could talk to her and mostly laugh with her. We had such great times together. I loved her.
Please pray for our family today especially Melissa's mother, stepfather, father, and siblings. She had many who loved her, so, so, many. I also encourage you to support the Relay for Life's in your area. Thanks for letting me share.

I miss her alot too sweetheart... I miss laying around listening to you two talk and laugh on the phone. What an awesome friendship. I love how you describe her because it's so evident that she had a great influence on who you are. I'm sure anyone from Judson can attest to that even if they never met her. I love you.

XXOO,
Your Hubby
