Many Thanks...

1st day of school!!

Don't ask me why he smiles crooked.
Where to begin...

I am now 23 weeks pregnant... I think. I'm feeling good... regular aches and pains of pregnancy, but good. I'm still on medication from my reflux/gall bladder/stomach issue. Otherwise, my energy is up and I'm doing as much as I can. Until I sit down, then it's all over.

John is doing well and working hard on the house. Evelyn turns 4 in a couple weeks and we are working to get the rest of the old kitchen out before the party. He is finally working on the floor now, and it should be done by weeks end! Woohooo!!

Evelyn started PRESCHOOL! WAhhhhh!! She is doing great and loves it! Not a tear! From her anyway, I went in the car and cried for the first 3 weeks! She practically cuts kids off to get to the door first! It's only 2 days a week for 2 and a half hours. She just loves it and her teacher said she is doing just fine and she's not worried about her adjustment at all. It's so cute seeing her in line and talking to her classmates. My heart literally explodes when she comes home singing a new song or talking about a new bible story.

It's hard watching her grow up, but she is blossoming and soaking up so much. She knows how to write her name, and started drawing people, you know the head with arms and legs. She has always "read" but she is acting like her teacher and reading to me and Grady now. I can't help but tear up when I think of her. Don't get me wrong though, the girl can drive me crazy. Our biggest battles are her wardrobe. She loves anything dressy, sequence, glitter, skirts, dresses, tights, ect. I just can't relate. It seemed to be impossible to talk her out of anything, but she's getting better at it.

Grady.... Oh... Grady. He's is crazy. He is a good boy, but just finds himself in trouble somehow. He doesn't walk, he runs everywhere, he's starting to speak actual words. He knows everything I'm saying and hates getting in trouble. He has the biggest tears I've ever seen which makes me melt all the time. I'm much more lenient with him than I am with Evie, I feel bad for admitting that, but he's a man, and doesn't get it! He's crazy sweet, and is a lover and a kisser. He goes to any baby he sees and loves on them. I can't get enough of him and since Evie is in school and gymnastics, we've become buddies.

All in all... all is well. I have weekly shots of progesterone like I did with Grady. Not bad at all, just stings a little. Evelyn loves watching the nurse do her thing. Grady loves watching movies while she's hear. I will have them until 35 weeks and that's it. I love having babies, but I am not a fan of being pregnant. Sorry to say... I'm just not, but, whatever it takes for a healthy baby. We are not finding out what we are having, so that'll be fun. We had a minor issue at the ultrasound that threw us, but after further testing all is seemingly well. God knows what He wants for our family. Thanks for listening and God Bless!

Belly pics coming soon! Promise!!

Loved the update. I enjoy reading your writing because you write how you speak... so I could hear your voice talking to me through the post. The kids are getting so big! I am glad Evie is enjoying school and that you and Grady are enjoying your time together. Can't wait to see the belly!!!!
