Welcome Nathaniel Richard Swidrak!

First things first... Grady turned 2! He is such a fun and curious guy. He is talking so much these days, and is learning his ABC's, from sister. He is super funny and loves to turn anything into a sword. We always give in to his cute-ness, we can't help it.
It was a long month of getting ready for baby. I really didn't think I was going to be pregnant in the month of January due to my history of having early babies. To be frank, I was a big fat baby about being pregnant for so long and I apologize for those of you who had to hear it. I was uncomfortable, huge, leg pained, sleepless, and sick to top it all off. By Grady's birthday I was done!
Here's the backstory for those of you who want to know. Skip ahead if you don't.
I cried to my doctor and she said she would induce me when I was 39 weeks, which was Jan 10th at 10am. This baby was very comfortable inside me, and to me, was my most unmotivated child to come out.
We had Grady's Toy Story Party on Jan 9th and it was a great time. I was so ready to go in the next day to be induced. Well, come 6:30am, I felt a contraction. Then about 15 mins later another one. "Seriously!!" I shouted. By the 3rd contraction I woke up John and said that we need to start getting ready to go. He of course didn't believe me, until I had my next contraction and yelled at him to really get ready because it's time! He jumped in the shower, we got the kids over to Nonnie's then we were on our way. I knew we had a little time and I was hungry so we went through Dunkin Donuts and pulling out of there was the worst contraction yet. When we got to the hospital I was 8cm! Luckily the baby was not in position so I had time to get my epidural, but of course it wore off when I really needed it because I got too much initially so my Doc thought I wouldn't need additional help. Well she was wrong. My throat hurt for 2 days from screaming. With Grady I didn't feel a thing and it was awesome. With Evie I went natural and can't remember it being that painful. Phew... it was brutal. But, it was only a 10min pushing session and at 11:22 we found out it was a BOY! We were overjoyed! He was pretty perfect. 7 lbs 11 oz, and 20.5 in. My biggest baby yet (Evie 4.5lbs and Grady 6.6lbs)!
Nathaniel is a good baby. Really good. He is sleeping 4-5 hours a night and rarely cries for nothing. He is a sweetheart and makes me want another one already. LOL JK!! Yikes. Really though, it has been an amazing first 2 weeks.
Another blessing is that Tata has come to help and will be staying a total of 4 weeks. I am such a better mom with help. :) He has taken a lot of the stress off of me in spending time with Evie and Grady. I can feed the baby and then let Tata hold him while I play with the other 2, it's pretty awesome. Still trying to figure out a way to keep him here! Don't tell my sister.
So basically life is moving along smoothly. John and I are happy to be a family of 5, and until the reality of Tata leaving sets in, I'm going to live in complete denial that it's going to stay that way. I'll try and post more pics soon (it only took 4 days to put this together. HA!). He has already changed so much in just 2 weeks. Thanks for your well wishes and Blessings to you in this New Year!

Yeah! Congratulations on the newest addition :) It is so funny how babies come when they want to, not when someone else wants them too.

What a beautiful family you have.

(p.s. I won't tell Yvonne that you are secretly making plans to keep Tata there forever...)

Awwww... I just love him (and you of course). He is precious and his big sister and brother look so proud. Enjoy the time with your dad!
