Week 8: Body Beast

I've been cruising along now for 8 weeks and just this past week I've felt the urge to "turn it up". As I said before I felt like I wasn't trying very hard. No. 1 goal is don't get hurt, No. 2 stick to the program, and No. 3 FINISH. Only 4 weeks left and I'm ready to crush it!

I'm going into the 3rd and final phase, BEAST. So it was Build, Bulk, and now Beast. Beast phase looks like a combination of the first two phases mixed up a little. This is typically where you get a little confidence/cocky and think, oh I'm gonna skip that workout and do this instead.... DON'T DO THAT!!! Stick to the program. They're all designed a certain way and to get max results. I know how to lift but I didn't know this stuff. There's subtle difference to my routines back in the college days :o)

This has been an impressive program. Yes, Sagi can be little odd, but it puts an authentic twist on it. Speaking of Sagi.... I took a picture with him at Coach Summit in Vegas. I know it looks more like a cardboard cut out and I'm about to punch him but I swear it was real. He's not a monster of a man but the hard work he puts in is apparent.


I could only find one back flex picture from T25 (week 8) to give a comparison to week 8 of Body Beast. Definitely have more definition and muscularity and in a way I'm glad I'm not huge. I might look big but I haven't gotten over 185 lbs! If I was 205 that would be a different story. Those days are over. I'm pleased to be stronger and more "fit". One awesome results so far is that my back injury from 9 years ago has not hurt for the last 7 weeks. I typically have to ice, stretch, and crack my back daily but have not had to at all. I always knew I had to strengthen my lower back but never put in the time and effort to do so. I am thrilled that my back has not been hurting :o)


8 weeks in, (not super impressive numbers but that's ok) here's my results:
