Caution: Puke talk here, you have been warned.
Woke up in Nathaniel's bed at 5am to him sitting straight up puking all over the blankets. How's that for a catchy headline. Yeah, so we cleaned him up and then laid back down in our bed. Then woke up to start our workout at 6:10. We had about 6 mins left when we start throwing up in our bed. Cleaned him up, finished the workout and then right to work: John shoveling snow, me getting the big kids and myself ready. Meanwhile, N is now throwing up on the kitchen floor. LOL... it's not funny, but come on if you can't laugh about it, you'll cry about it. Praying our Garlic practices will keep us healthy, but we're being picked off one by one with this little bug.
So now, some 3ish hours later. We have gotten the kids off to school, Daddy off to work, and now N and I to have some snuggle and major disinfecting time. He seems to be great now.
Cheers to a quick, early, and intense workout to get my anxious energy out so I can handle all of these "little" things of life that can sometimes cause chaos. That's a HUGE reason why I workout.
I'm not hyper, or a constant go-go-go person, but I have this "anxious energy" I call it, that doesn't let me sit still without bouncing my leg, or fall right to sleep when hitting the pillow, or drive somewhere without calling someone, or making lists thru speaking to my phone, or be in a room with strangers without striking up a conversation about what is going on with them or me, or my kids. It's just who I am, it's who God made me (I think). If I don't workout, it's a little outta control, if I don't pray and make myself have quiet time, it's WAY out of control. Anxiousness can lead to worry, and I try not to even go there. Exercise is huge for me, HUGE! So bring it on little bug! Ok, don't really bring it on me, just leave us alone please.
