Anyway, enough of that.
Needless to say we have laid low. We missed yesterday's workout and made it up today. Dynamic Core, which of course you always want to work your stomach out after you've really "worked" your stomach out with the flu. We took it very slow, well I did, John was a little stronger than me today.
Taking days off or missing workouts, sucks. It is hard to get back to it, literally hard to do the moves, and hard to get going. Weather it's because you still feel sick and weak, or because you feel like you are out of groove and gotten out of shape while that time was taken away from your workouts. It's all the same. The hardest part is getting starting, or restarted. What's the alternative tho? It would be a downhill slide for me, full of Christmas cookies, and plate refills.
Praise the Lord we are all feeling good, at the same time and praying that we don't get hit again. What are you gonna do, sometimes you get sick. Kick it in the pants, get your rest, drink lots of fluids, and then get out of it. Down but not out.
