Ok I won't always post sweaty pics, but today's workout. Speed 1.0 was really good. It was totally manageable, but still pushed us. That's how Shaun T is. He gets you warmed up feeling confident and then lays the smack down to get you to the next level. I'm ok with it!
After I had Nathaniel, John and I did Insanity. We love Shaun T, and loved the workouts. Month 1 was awesome, it was tough but totally doable. Month 2... Ouch. I was sore for days, in all new places. I hadn't been that sore since college volleyball preseason. Seriously, it was brutal, and it was like 20 mins longer. Man, we were zombies. Then I got the Recovery Formula, he is always talking about on the video and it changed everything. I was able to move! I recovered faster and was able to get through the day with energy. However, we were not doing the diet or the shakeology, so we only got so far. We lost a little weight and gained strength, but it wasn't what it could've been.
I think that's when we really turned into believers of this concept. I'm VERY sensitive to products, shakes, medication, anything new in my system. So the Recovery Formula was nerve wracking for me to take, but I ended being fine, more than fine, I was fantastic! After we ran out, we went to GNC and the guy sold the "equivalent" of the Recovery stuff. It was not. It did not taste nearly as good, and I was jumpy and shaky all morning and afternoon. It was an awful feeling. I'm not doing that again. Not worth it.
My shake was much better today too! Phew. We mixed it with a banana and OJ. It was very tasty and will do again tomorrow. We are both feeling good. Excited for tomorrow. We have before pics to post, but I need to get them all side by side, so I will work on that today and post them tomorrow. See you then!
