I wish for you and for myself that it was all easier. That we didn't have to sweat, burn, be sore, and have to drink meal replacements. There is no quick fix friends. There is no magic potion or pill, or shortcut. If there is, it will be fleeting (amen, my yo-yo homies?).
Here's the good news though, it isn't so bad. Actually I haven't felt this confident in what I'm doing for my body in a long time. My body is getting used to waking up early and moving. It wants to! If I push the snooze button it makes my heart pump faster like, "LET'S GO GIRL!" It does burn, but only for a second or two. We are sore, but not overly sore, and not to the point that we can't function. It's a good feeling sore, like we did something good for our body. The meal replacements shakes is something I wish I could have twice a day now! It's so easy, tastes good, no thinking, and we know that we are giving our bodies the best. I've just heard somewhere that eating an apple today is 60% less nutrient dense than one 30 years ago, because if the pesticides sprayed on them. Is that true? I guess the pesticides keep having to mix up its formula while the bugs adapt to the last formula, and guess who gets to eat it? Ugh... and organic is expensive! Now, it's not all bad, and I think we are all more conscious about food. I'm just saying that, both of us feel a little more balanced these days.

Speed 1.0 is like speed and agility training from high school and college athletics. I am not very good at the quickness of feet and criss-cross, and heisman under leg clap, BUT I am better than last week. I find myself jogging in place at the bus stop with Evelyn in the morning to keep warm and running up the stairs in the office at work. Feeling really good here!!! Also, I cheated and weighed myself this morning because I was curious. WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll post result numbers on Monday, but for real kickin' that extra fat. I think that's the biggest reason we're overthetop excited about this. IT WORKS!!! laters... -John-
