4 Week Results

I'm a little embarrassed to say that I'm so surprised how many inches I've needed to lose in order to start seeing definition. The weight I was happy with, but I'm happier now. Not because of the number, ok a little because of that, but because of how much better I feel. I am wearing clothes that I have been uncomfortable in previously! They were just too tight, or hugged in the wrong places. John is also wearing clothes I haven't seen him wear, ever! I think we will be shopping for him very soon here. He's a little sad that he is losing his size, but knows there was obviously fat to trim.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not perfect, have lots of extra belly fat/skin that will hopefully tighten a little more. I am not shooting for perfection, I am shooting for the best me I can be. A me that I knew was in there, but needed that push to get her out! Why not me? Why couldn't I be one of those ladies who makes an incredible transformation? Not just skinny, I want HEALTHY, LEAN, STRONG, ABLE!

We are more convicted than ever about how we as Christians treat our bodies. We mistreat these amazing gifts, and don't even realize the potential they have. We focus on feeding our spirit, and RIGHTLY so, with small groups, and bible studies. Why can't we feed our bodies correctly the way we feed our spirits? I completely believe that it would be glorifying to God.
