So crazy to think that we've been doing this for 7 weeks. Today was Cardio 2.0 and we had to do it separately because John had to work early this morning, I had to work late morning, shopping, and then a wedding shower this afternoon. It was a busy day!
Happy to report my kiddos donated 25 pieces of candy each, except Nathaniel, his just magically disappeared. They got great new toys that they picked out and have been having a blast with them all day. Evie said she doesn't really care about candy, or presents, she just cares about her family and God (who is this kid?). I know it's not a perfect system and we will surely tweak it to 50 cents a candy next year, it could get carried away. I'm proud of them still and they don't miss not having the candy. It was worth it to us this year! Bring on the nerf and sword wars!
