Then after that I had a cornbread muffin with honey butter, and a small glass of eggnog, and a glass of sangria. My body is not used to this, not the amount, not the sugar, not the non-fresh food (steamed veggies, salad, ect). It was an amazing plate of food, and I'm sure that would've been just fine, but the extras killed me. I woke up around 3 thinking I was going to lose it all, and even before the workout. This sluggish, bloated, nauseous, stomach aching is not for me. I don't want to feel like this and will not be pushing my limits any longer. It's just not worth it to me.
Back on track with my regular eating.
John was hurting as well too, mostly because he played in his high school alumni soccer game yesterday. He scored 2 goals and the winning goal! We are very proud of him and looked strong and fit while running around out there with his old teammates and keeping up with the high schoolers. It was great to see. The Lord couldn't have made this better timing, since we have been working out. I can't imagine him not in shape and just going out to play. Honestly, he wouldn't have even gone. Another great thing about where he is right now to get out there and try, and not feel afraid about not keeping up or getting hurt. He's pretty sore today, but he said he feels good.
It's been a great couple of days, and we are looking forward to finishing this holiday weekend strong.
Oh and we set up our Christmas Tree last night! Yay!
Evie was our photographer today. I was not aware she was taking the pic. lol
