Dynamic Core

Dynamic Core is probably the workout that we have to stop to take a breath and rest the most. It's not "intense" like jumping and pushing your heart rate through the ceiling. No, it's a burning a tightening feeling that makes you almost feel like you are going to get stuck in that position if you keep tensing. But, in a good way! Ha! I know that sounds horrible, just it's one of those core workouts that you know if you can nail that, it will be because your core (abs, oblique's, and lower lumbar) are at it's highest potential. It's a great workout.
Tomorrow is John and his Dad's birthday! I will be making another cake that we won't eat, but that's ok. We have 2 weeks left. I will however be taking him out to dinner tonight, which will also be a a challenge. Not because of overeating or drinking alcohol (we are not even going there), but because of how restaurants prepare their food. You know when you go out to a restaurant and you have the worst indigestion, gas, or plain old I feel like I'm going to pop my pants feeling? That's because of the extra butter, salt, and maybe even some chemicals/pesticide foods that the restaurants may cook with. We can't protect ourselves from everything, but you can keep it to a minimum. It's so not about being perfect at eating and working out, it's about being better, being conscious about what you are doing to your body. Are you helping it or hurting it? I am looking for a "cleaner" place to eat out tonight, I'll let you know how it goes. Make it a great day!
