Although we were both sore and tired from last night's Fit Club that is ok. It was another great turn out and a fantastic time.
I lead the devotional last night (which I really freak out when speaking in front of crowds) about growing up in our faith and how similarly we can grow up in our Health and Fitness. In Hebrews 5:11 God warns us about not growing up in our faith and needing to go back to the foundation or "milk" like a baby. He created us to be born, grow, and mature. When we don't grow, we hinder our potential. Similar with health, when we don't grow, and stay away from the habits that are unhealthy for us (too much sugar, fried foods, overeating) we never reach Maturity. Maturity is the ability to respond to a certain environment in the correct manner, it is a learned response, not a instinctual one. So I encourage you to grow, especially in your faith, but also your fitness. It's not easy to workout 5 days a week or pass up the foods that you've instinctually been feeding yourself. But you will grow little by little and it will get easier and easier, and maturity will come. You can do it.
